Transcend United Technologies and LiquidSpoke announced today that they are joining forces to create one of the nation’s fastest-growing unified communications technology resellers. The new entity offers advanced capabilities working with Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, ShoreTel, Riverbed, LifeSize and other core infrastructure vendors, and becomes one of the largest technology resellers in North America.
The transaction significantly grows Transcend United’s scale and ability to serve markets in the Northeast and adds significant capabilities to the company’s Managed Services practice. The resulting product portfolio includes solutions for service desk, IP Telephony, Wireless, WAN Optimization, Videoconferencing, and Backup/ Recovery including a state of the art 24 x 7 Network Operations Center (NOC).
As a key part of Transcend United’s expansion strategy, all LiquidSpoke principals and executive management are joining the company in key roles. Transcend United plans to relocate its headquarters and Pennsylvania sales operations to LiquidSpoke’s current Wayne, PA, location. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
